Backend programming is the process of writing code that allows a website or application to function. It is behind-the-scenes programming that allows a website or application to do what it does. It is the code that interacts with the server and the database, and it is the code that dictates how the user interacts with the website or application. Backend programming includes server-side scripting languages with PHP amd Node.Js. It also includes database technology such as MySQL. Backend programming also involves web application frameworks such as Laravel.
